After conversations with the City of Lakewood, “The Hut” is closed for the 2025 season.
If you are looking for Tennis or Pickleball programming (ball machines, lessons, reservable court times, demos, adult classes, kids classes, etc) - feel free to check out what the City of Lakewood might have to offer on its website. If you want tennis and pickleball programming back at Lakewood Park Tennis and Pickleball, feel free to email the City of Lakewood to express your views, opinions, and desires. Gates Tennis (and Pickleball!) has 34 courts of tennis and pickleball, truly "Open-to-public" as a partnership with the City of Denver, with no memberships ever, and everything is reasonably priced. We are located diagonally across from the Cherry Creek Mall. (10 miles, 20 minutes - from Lakewood Park)
Gates has tons of Tennis Pros, Pickleball Pros, Tennis Socials, Pickle Open Plays, “Learn How To Play” Classes, Intermediate Group Lessons, Ball Machines, and everything else! Until then the Tennis and Pickleball Hut will not be open, and the courts are available for free public usage, with no programming and no reservations.

Tennis courts 1& 2 are available for free community use on a 1st come, first serve basis at the days/times listed above. Participants are required to have a free account setup and check-in at the hut.
